This is another embroidery pattern, two really from my Baking Series. A little baking, a little vintage, a little hoop art. Mixing and stirring. I remember my grandmother sitting me up on a tall stool next to her countertop in her old farmhouse, and telling me to stir while she added ingredients. Often times it was for a blackberry cobbler and she would show me how to make the cobbler topping. I can even remember the smell of the cobbler baking in the oven!
Simple stitching with a diagram included how to do this stitch and outline the design. The finished piece fits in the wooden embroidery hoop (4"). Also included is the design to trace and use as many times as wanted. Also it would be cute to do each item as individual items and make little ornaments for a kitchen Christmas tree, or use as little bowl fillers in your kitchen. Just an idea!
Many of us had grandmothers or relatives that had vintage items in their kitchen, from mixers to pyrex bowls, to special pieces that were only used when guests came over. These embroidery pieces create a feeling of those kitchens from days gone by.
Stitching in these patterns are simple, colors are pretty and the finished product is something everyone will enjoy.
A word of encouragement! I was taught to embroider, quilt and sew at a young age, and it has brought me years of great joy, and something to do while waiting for a doctor appointment, or waiting at kids sporting practices, and now while grandkids are napping. A good way to fill empty but necessary time. I was a soccer mom with 3 kids in soccer, and I completed many projects over the years by having a little project in a bag in my purse. 15 minutes everyday or here and there is 2 1/2 hours at the end of week. That is a good chunk of time for embroidering, quilting, cross stitching, or something!
This is a PDF downloadable pattern you will receive as a link once the transaction is completed. Nothing physical is being sent to you in the mail. I had someone order 400.00 worth of products, and then cancel a few days later as I was mailing out their package. That is rough....especially if you just made your house payment!
