If you love sewing a simple design with pretty fabric, then this Bunny Appliqué quilt is for you. Simple directions along with photos will guide you every step of the way. Make the quilt to hang on a wall with twine and little clothespins for Spring decor or make it with my instructions to fit a dollhouse size bed. The quilt has blocks that are 1 1/2" wide by 2" long. The quilt can be made with 3 blocks across and the outer strips to fit a twin style dollhouse bed. The quilt can also be made using 4 blocks across for a little larger quilt.
Easily made, and wonderful to enjoy. Use scraps of fabric or buy something special to make these little quilts. They really are so easy to make I made several!
The blocks are made with heavy duty Heat N Bond. The Heat N Bond is used to adhere the bunny piece to the quilt block and keep it there. This keeps the bunnies attached to the quilt block like appliqué. The bunnies are so tiny that when I did stitch them and appliqué them to the blocks, the stitching altered their look and ruined their little ears, and distorted the blocks. When quilting and making tiny little pieces for bedding or any part of a dollhouse more stitching can greatly alter or ruin the look of the pillow, bedding, table linens, etc. This quilt is meant for decoration and is not meant to be washed and used other than for decoration.
This is considered a decorative quilt and pillows as opposed to a hand stitched dollhouse piece that is meant to stand the test of time and be passed down to the next generation. It is adorable, and is perfect for redecorating a little dollhouse room, diorama, or seasonal doll room.
If a more serious dollhouse bedding pattern is desired, it can be found here @ https://www.etsy.com/listing/250224825/sewing-pattern-miniature-cottage-style?ga_search_query=dollhouse+pattern&ref=shop_items_search_15
That pattern will help to make doll bedding from the mattress, to flat sheets, blankets, ruffled comforters, flat contemporary comforters, pillows, pillowcases, shams and accent pillows. It is an extremely detailed pattern for dollhouse bedding.
I accept Paypal, money orders and credit cards. If you need to do a lay-away plan I can also work with you individually on that as well. If you return an item please realize it may take a 2-7 day time period for money to refund to you from Etsy or PayPal. And that is set in motion after I receive the item back in the mail. And due to the nature of digital items I cannot refund the cost of a paid for digital pattern. I however can email the link or pattern to you should you have difficulty opening up the digital pdf file.
Your files will be available to download once payment is confirmed.
I am able to refund as long as there is a valid reason for refunding. I am not however able to refund the cost of a digital download that you have access too. Nor am I able to refund the cost of my work when I have done a custom order with your measurements. I can give you store credit to purchase something else.
I had someone order 400.00 worth of products, and then cancel a few days later as I was mailing out their package. That is rough....especially if you just made your house payment!
I ship worldwide, please just communicate with me if you want something and I don't have postal information for you. I'm not able to sell wholesale at this time. Please be advised that other countries may charge additional rates for customs and mailing privileges. I am not in control of these charges.
